So i got in to 2, count em, 2 art shows this year! my first ever. both are plush art. both are this October/November.

New Happy Tree Friends cartoon

I got to animate some scenes on a cool new "Happy Tree Friends" episode, produced by the good folks at Ghostbot.
it's part of a new series of action shorts called "Ka-POW"

my scenes start when Flippy bursts out of the dead carcass, and ends when he gets stabbed in the gut. ENJOY!

My wife and I have joined forces and became, Cutesypoo Toys (basically i just joined her). we are releasing 3 plush toys in the near future, 2 versions of her Egg Tarts (one has a happy face and the other has a sleepy one)
and Musseloom, a mushroom character i designed.

our handmade prototypes were previewed at this year's San Diego Comicon at the DKE toys booth, and are being manufactured by ESC.

i definitly cannot keep up with the weekly schedule. So i'm putting Mr. Obtuse on hiatus until i have more time.  SORRY EVERYONE, I'm only one man with too many projects... something had to give. BUT  I SHALL RETURN WITH NEW EPISODES AT A LATER DATE.

No Obtuse today

hey everyone... i'm sorry to say that there is no Mr. Obtuse this week. I've been pretty busy and wasn't able to get to it. 

from now on i am going to reduce the frequency of the episodes to every 2 weeks, due to work and life commitments. i wish i could just work on Mr. Obtuse all day but it doesn't pay the bills... yet.

so you will just have to be patient... there will be more, just not as often.

look at this...

its a prototype of the Mr.Obtuse paper toy.  waddaya think? you want one?

i have to make some small adjustments but its pretty much there. it was printed on crappy paper so thats why it looks less than pro. but i'll make a better one, and then i'll post the plans for download so you all can make one.

i'd really like to make vinyl toys of him (and cubecat of course... which i will do a brand new paper toy of next), so we'll see.

Chubby Dee on Crackle

i should have posted about this sooner, but you can now find my cartoon "Chubby Dee in: Stale Sale" that i did so long ago, on CRACKLE.COM it's been featured recently (which is when i should have talked about it) and you can watch it in HIGH RESOLUTION! so take a look!

I really want to do a lot more with that character, and hopefully i will get a chance to. I have a whole pitch worked out and even an entire pilot storyboard ready to go... all i need is someone with money or a network willing to take a chance on it. any takers?
