here's a neat little fellow i found at the richmond night market. i have no idea what it is or who made it or where it comes from. but i like it.

OH HAAAAA!!!

this is totally messed up! a grown man in a pretty pink dress dancing and singing with a bunch of children and people in various costumes in a happy rainbow land. shingo is this guy from the Japanese pop boy band "Smap" they're so popular they have their own variety show. he has this character that he plays called "shingo mama" which i suppose either represents his mother or himself as a mom. he does a segment on the show and i think this is the music video that accompanies it. Enjoy the weird wonderful over the top saccharine!

SUPERFLAT MONOGRAM

OMG you have to watch this! I'm a huge fan of Takeshi Murakami's Superflat movement, and it seems as though they made a crazy short film/ad for Louis Vuitton. I am totally inspired by this stuff.

Cintiq!!!

it's finally here! our 21 inch wacom Cintiq monitor arrived today. i love it! it's like drawing on digital paper. so here's my first drawing on it.. done in sketchbook.
